The Challenge
Enova needed help developing their CashNetUSA app for Android and iOS as well as developing a set of mobile APIs. They also needed new functionality that enabled lenders to utilize Stripe API to apply for loans directly via Stripe. OnDeck (Enova Product) was looking to capitalize on this new offering.
They wanted to develop Stripe and OnDeck app to enable Stripe users who are new to OnDeck to apply for small business financing within OnDeck app on Stripe. End users would then be able to apply for funding from OnDeck directly from Stripe Dashboard, check application status and quickly access account and active funding details.
How We Solved It
Sphere sent a Senior iOS developer, Senior Android Developer, and Project Manager to create the application and develop the APIs. The Sphere team also worked collaboratively with Enova/OnDeck product owners to scope out requirements for the application functionality. Once product requirements and estimates were validated, Sphere stood up appropriate development resources to execute on the project. The team provided a cross-functional group of developers that combined their technical expertise and business knowledge to provide the end-to-end features of the product.
The Results
The CashNetUSA app allows users to apply for a new loan or line of credit, make payments, and track the status of their loans. Sphere’s design includes intuitive navigation, status updates through in-app push notifications, a digital calendar, FAQ section, and secure message center. The app also allows Enova to analyze user actions through Adobe Analytics.
This team completed the project ahead of schedule and under budget.
