The Challenge
Transforming Business Operations: Cirrus LED’s ERP Upgrade Challenge
The challenge faced by Cirrus LED (Cirrus) was to upgrade their existing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, Odoo, which had become insufficient for their needs. They approached Sphere with the following problems:
- Limited Functionality: Odoo lacked the depth of functionality required to efficiently process transactions and capture essential data for their operations.
- Lack of Integration: Cirrus was using various other business systems, such as Salesforce and HubSpot, that were not integrated with their ERP (Odoo). This resulted in disjointed and inadequate systems that hindered their overall efficiency and productivity.
The challenge for Sphere was to address these issues by implementing NetSuite, an Oracle ERP with a robust set of features and capabilities. Additionally, they needed to create seamless integrations between NetSuite and Cirrus’s other critical systems, such as Salesforce and HubSpot. - Implementation of NetSuite ERP: Sphere led the implementation of NetSuite, an Oracle ERP system used by thousands of clients globally. This implementation involved several steps:
- Design Solution: Sphere designed a solution tailored to Cirrus’s specific needs and requirements.
- Implementation and Testing: The NetSuite solution was implemented and thoroughly tested to ensure it met Cirrus’s business processes and goals.
- Data Migration: Sphere cleaned and converted Cirrus’s existing data to ensure a smooth transition to the new system.
- Support for Launch: Sphere provided support during the launch phase to ensure a successful transition to the new ERP system.
- Integration with Other Systems: In addition to implementing NetSuite, Sphere also built an integration solution that connected NetSuite with Cirrus’s other key systems, including Salesforce and HubSpot. This integration was based on the Celigo iPaaS platform, a no-code solution that simplifies the process of building and maintaining integrations without the need for developer assistance.

This entire project was completed within a timeframe of 9 months from project initiation.
